CARB Compliance

All our cabinets meet California Air Resource Board (CARB) stringent emission standards for formaldehyde emissions. The California Air Resources Board (CARB) evaluated formaldehyde exposure in California and found that one of the major sources of exposure is from inhalation of formaldehyde emitted from composite wood products containing urea-formaldehyde resins. Formaldehyde is a respiratory irritant. While meeting CARB requirements is required for California only, we strongly recommend you buy cabinets that meet these requirements regardless of where you are located.
